Middle School (Year 7-9) Art

Year 7/8 Art
Basic skills and exploration in a variety of mediums are taught. These include traditional and contemporary approaches in painting, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. Students use the iPads to generate Art journals, discuss art and artists, and reflect on their progress. We also use the iPads to show films of processes learnt and trial drawings.

Year 7/8 Music
Students develop performance skills through playing the guitar, singing, hand percussion, musical games and a wide variety of music technology programs and applications. Students are invited to explore and create music, are introduced how to read and write music and reflect on performances through listening activities.

Year 7 Drama

They develop skills in stage production, giving dramatic performances and presentations and begin to appreciate the performing arts.
