Congratulations to our GWSC ‘Senior Girls’ Softball Team who recently won the 2026 ‘School Sport Victoria’ Softball State Championships. They were also awarded the prestigious ‘School Sport Victoria’ Spirit of Sport Award, acknowledging their outstanding endeavours both on and off the diamond.

Twenty GWSC girls from Year 7 were recently invited to attend a special STEM based excursion at the Penrite Oil ‘Sandown 500’ Supercars Championship at Sandown International Motor Raceway, as part of the ‘FiA’ Motorsport Australia ‘Girls on Track’ Inspire Program.
Those with consistent bad luck often say ‘when it rains, it pours’… Our GWSC Athletics team recently put a spin on this age-old adage by running, jumping & throwing in the rain at the ‘SSV’ State Track & Field Championships with great success, resulting in a flood of medals being won by Team Glenny!
We would like to congratulate three of our spectacular ‘Student Research Groups’ who have attained 'Creativity in Research, Engineering, Science and Technology' Awards from the CSIRO in recognition of the outstanding research inquiries they engaged in throughout ‘Year 9 Research Science’ this year.
Glen Waverley Secondary College is developing an alumni program called ‘GAP’ to assist our former students and staff members to keep in touch with one another, whilst also maintaining a strong and meaningful connection with our school community.
