Our golden run of sporting success at States has continued with a third GWSC team taking home a State Title! Congratulations to our GWSC ‘Senior Mixed’ Badminton Team (Yuhao, Sarah, Adam, Adrian, Justin & Ivan) who are the 2024 ‘School Sport Victoria’ Senior Boys/Mixed Badminton State Champions!

From the 29^th of April to the 3^rd of May this year, GWSC hosted its tenth annual ‘Poverty Awareness Week’ to raise awareness and also funds for both Oaktree and FoodBank, who support impoverished communities across the globe afflicted by this injustice. 

GWSC teams dominated the 2024 ‘F1 AusGP STEM Challenge, taking out dual divisions of this national competition. We take great pleasure and pride in announcing that history has been made and many records broken throughout this STEM challenge by our brilliant Glen Waverley Secondary College students!

Our GWSC 'World's Greatest Shave' Fundraising Team are proud to announce that we have raised $26,233 in donations thus far in 2024 to support The Leukaemia Foundation!

Students from Year 9 ‘Research Science’ & Year 10 ‘Systems Engineering’ worked collaboratively in small teams throughout Semester 2 on the 2023 ‘Royal Australian Navy’ STEM Challenge. Kudos to our STEM Teams who won both the ‘Junior’ Division and ‘Senior’ Division of this national competition.  

Two hundred & fifty-five schools from across Victoria converged on Lakeside Stadium on Monday the 16^th of October to contest the 2023 ‘School Sport Victoria’ State Track & Field Championships. Our GWSC team consisted of 19 athletes determined to make a ‘STATE’ment both on track and in the field….

Glen Waverley Secondary College is developing an alumni program called ‘GAP’ to assist our former students and staff members to keep in touch with one another, whilst also maintaining a strong and meaningful connection with our school community.
