Glen Waverley Secondary College has an outstanding sports program that promotes and develops personal growth, leadership, engagement and participation of students through the wide range of opportunities for involvement within high quality physical programs that caters to the needs of all within our college community.

We offer training and development opportunities for all sports and specialist coaching for our Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics Squads. These training programs allow students to enhance their skills in a safe and supportive environment whilst striving towards their personal best. The extensive commitment from students has allowed Glen Waverley Secondary College to achieve continued success in our Division, Region and State Competitions. We strongly encourage all students to get involved and participate in the many opportunities that are available to them within the GWSC Sports Program which align with the school values of respect, diversity, commitment, perseverance and accomplishment..

Sports Program Achievements

The GWSC Sports Program is proud to have achieved sustained success in a wide range of sporting fields. This has included an astonishing seventeen year consecutive run as the Division Champions in Swimming and Athletics as well as regular placings within the top five schools in the Eastern Metropolitan Region. Glen Waverley Secondary College were also named as the Eastern Region Champions for Swimming and Athletics.
