PRODUCTIONS

Here at Glen Waverley Secondary College we have a major school production each year. Our school productions involve students in all aspects- onstage, backstage tech crew, dance, as well as costuming and makeup. Production is a great opportunity for students to take part in a unique collaborative learning experience. Each year there is a strong focus on increasing the students’ skill level and encouraging a higher level of school connectedness. Apart from being great fun, the production nurtures students to develop invaluable skills such as self-confidence, articulation, leadership qualities, team work, and responsibility as well as more creative-based talents. GWSC has won numerous Lyrebird and Musical Theatre Guild of Victoria awards for our productions, including Best Junior Production, Best Director, and Best Ensemble Youth Production just to name a few.
