On behalf of the Parents Association I would like to welcome you to Glen Waverley Secondary College.
The Parents Association plays a vital role in the success of Glen Waverley Secondary College through offering the leadership team a voice from one of the most important bodies of the school, the parents.
We meet once a month to discuss events and the development of the school. This is a unique opportunity to put your views directly to the leadership team of the College and is a great way to meet other parents in the school.
The Glen Waverley Secondary College Parents Association does not fundraise in the form of chocolate drives or raffles. We acknowledge the demands on families in relation to fundraising and have decided to rely solely on parent contributions to provide the extra resources required to enrich your child’s learning. The school community has always been very supportive of this approach.
We do some fundraising when we run the kiosks at the biannual school production and the Autumn and Spring Gala concerts. Volunteers to help at these events are always appreciated. Glen Waverley Secondary College is a great school and working together we can make it even better!
Meetings are held in the Science & Technology centre and parents should park in the staff car park enter via Sneddon drive. College Principal Joanne Wastle will attend this meeting to talk to parents
