Transition into year 7 2025
Glen Waverley Secondary College understands just how important the transition from Primary to Secondary school is. Our college community goes above and beyond to welcome our newest members each year. The Middle School support structure includes two year 7 year level leaders, a Director of the Sub School, and a Director of Learning. This team leads a thorough program to ensure that our newest students are supported to settle into the college. The transition process begins with an information evening (more information to follow), orientation day (in 2024), and then a further orientation program is run during the first few days of school in 2025.
Families should continue to visit this page and pay close attention to the links at the bottom, which will be updated in the lead up to Orientation day. Which will be held on Tuesday the 10th of December.
Families should also note the following date: Information Evening will be held on Thursday the 24th of October at 6.30pm Treseder Hall. The evening will provide all families with important information about your child’s start at GWSC. We encourage all families and future GWSC students to attend. You will meet some of the Principal Team and the year 7 support team.
